We are seeking a skilled, motivated, and highly professional IT Support Technician to join our technical operations team in Navsari, Gujarat. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining robust computer systems, providing prompt troubleshooting and resolution of technical issues, and delivering exceptional day-to-day IT support to ensure seamless business operations within the city’s expanding industrial and commercial sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, peripherals, operating systems (OS), and essential business applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve Level 1 and Level 2 issues related to network connectivity (LAN/WAN/VPN), systems, printers, email, and proprietary applications with minimal downtime.
- Execute regular preventative maintenance checks, system performance monitoring, and timely software/OS patching and updates.
- Monitor network performance and implement basic security protocols to ensure data integrity and system reliability.
- Provide technical support and training to staff members on IT best practices and new software implementations.
- Maintain accurate IT asset records and manage the inventory of hardware and software licenses.
- Coordinate effectively with external vendors or service providers for specialized IT-related needs.
Qualifications & Technical Skills
- Education: Diploma, B.E., B.Tech, or B.Sc. in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- Experience: 1–3 years of experience in a desktop support or helpdesk role is preferred. (Freshers with relevant certifications and a strong foundation are encouraged to apply).
- Core Skills:
- Demonstrable expertise in Hardware and Software troubleshooting.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking fundamentals, including basic configuration of routers, switches, and Wi-Fi access points.
- Proficiency in managing and supporting Windows 10/11 and basic familiarity with Linux or macOS.
- Excellent communication skills in Gujarati and Hindi (English proficiency for technical documentation is required).
- Basic knowledge of Active Directory (User/Group management) and Office 365/Google Workspace administration.
- Preferred Skills (Advantageous for the South Gujarat Market):
- Familiarity with CCTV and Biometric system maintenance.
- Experience with Tally or other ERP software support commonly used in local industries.
